A Pair of Shoes - Fiction Story

One day, deep in someone’s thought, there was a story of a pair of shoes. There was a girl, little-chubby-girl, and his mom bought a pair of new shoes in a store. “Thank you very much, Mommy! I love these shoes very much! I will wear it every day and keep it always clean,” she said. “You’re welcome, honey. You’re so beautiful with it,” her mom replied. The shoes were very beautiful, the color was red and the size was not big because she was a little girl. She loved her shoes very much. Although it was not expensive, the shoes were very comfortable.

One week, one month, one semester, the shoes were still very comfortable. Until one day, after one year, she started to look for a new pair of shoes. She found a new pair of shoes. They were more expensive than the red shoes. The color was blue and she could run with it. She started to go anywhere with those shoes and left the red one.

The red shoes felt very sad since they were not longer used. The owner left the red shoes in the storeroom. That made the red shoes sadder. They were separated. The left shoe said, “Where is my partner? I miss her so much… I want to go walk with her again.” She cried. The right shoe heard her partner and cried, too. “I miss you so, my partner… Where are you?”

The day passed on. The little-chubby girl grew older and became a beautiful girl. Her mother asked the girl to help her clean the storeroom. When they were cleaning the storeroom, her mother found the left shoe and the girl found the right shoe. “Mom, I remember these shoes. Oh, they are old already,” the girl said. “You can take and clean them. Give it to your cousin. She will be very happy,” her mom replied.  “Okay, Mom.”

She cleaned those shoes and those shoes were very happy. They felt fresh and useful. Then, the girl gave them to her cousin. The red shoes were happier, so did the girl and her cousin.
